Tarjumatul Quran - Sura' al-Qasas [The Stories]: 5 (2) - 22
Pharaoh and Haman are mentioned. Korah who was their chief minister of the treasury is not named: he was not from among the people of Pharoah's nation. He had joined the court of the Pharoah having deserted his own people. This is why he is mentioned separately in 'The Holy Quran'. Pharoah and his crew were drowned and Korah was sunk into a quagmire. Haman was the caretaker of Pharoah's largest temple and a soldier. An interesting aspect is that in future times such people were to appear under new names. Moreover whatever the Pharoah's wife said to him after having taken Prophet Moses out from the bulrushes and taking him into her care is also worthy of note. 13 May 1997.
